Giving

Giving

If the Black Friday weekend has left you feeling like your soul was being suffocated by all the grabbing - and the ‘getting’, today there's some room for your soul to breathe.

Today is about giving.

#GivingTuesday

Since 2012, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving has increasingly become designated as an international day of giving. In the UK, there are now 2000+ partners in the CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) campaign here and at #GivingTuesday.

As you'll know, if you’ve read my About page - as part of what I do, I give away a small number of coaching hours, each quarter.

One thing I really enjoy about the pro-bono work I do, is this:

Giving back enables me to give to the ‘givers’.

It's an opportunity to resource people, so they can do more of the good stuff - and and make a difference.

Wherever they are.

Wherever they’re called to be.

This isn’t primarily about working with people or projects designed to change the world on a grand scale.

Most people I work with, are doing ordinary, extraordinary things, in their homes and local communities, as part of their everyday life and work.

In ways large and small…

All of us are called to change the world.

What kind of difference do you want to make, through your life and work, in 2019?

It doesn’t have to be big.

It just needs to be real - and true.

And you.

If you’d like to apply for 3x pro-bono coaching sessions in the New Year, the new AWAY Newsletter (launch issue out Friday 30 November 2018) will include full details of eligibility - and how to apply: Subscribe now
